I am curious to find out if there are other Vulcan Riders using the REEVU motorcycle helmet utilizing the rear view mirror type sight for whatever is behind you ?
If you have one , curious to know if you like it, hate it , or do not use it anymore.
I purchased one recently and I am still trying to get used to the vision system.

I didn't know they were still making them. I saw them a few years ago.

I tried one on last year, I didn't care for it. I couldn't get it to show the rear view properly. I assume I may have gotten used to it over time, but I'll stick with traditional mirrors for now.

Interesting for sure! Definitely let us know your overall opinions:tup:
I use my mirrors and find if they are adjusted properly and used regularly, I can generally see what is going on behind me. I also use a head check right and left when changing lanes, just to be sure. Your helmet seems like a good idea, but in the real world may function as another distraction

After seeing it I think this would be one of those good ideas that solve a non existent problem.
I have a 2 din LCD stereo mounted in my faring that supports a backup camera. I want to install a rearview camera and trigger it with a button on the bars. I dont need it I just think it would be cool.:tup:

If it can be done, I think you can do it.

I use convex mirrors on top of my regular mirrors and don't have any blind spots. BUT I still think the integrated helmet is cool, and see potential uses.
I don't want a full face helmet, but that doesn't make it a crappy idea, so for the rest of you who think it's useless because YOU don't want it . . .

I looked into them recently and was told it takes an adjustment phase to get used to them.
It was the opinion of the salesman that because the mirror up top that functions as a display is so small- you have to learn to not focus on it for detail, but catch the dots (cars) in your vertical peripheral vision.
Also, you have to turn your head left to see what is alongside you to the right- unless you also use your mirrors. But then if you gotta use your mirrors... Why bother?
I was not deterred until i found out the fit is round, not long oval. Since my head is narrow, it would have too much volume on the sides and create a pressure point in front.
