Tire size 2010 Nomad

Can anyone tell me if they heard you can mount a wider tire than

170/70 B16 M/C (75 H) on these bikes ..

I've got a 2010 Voyager and put a 180/65-16 Michelin Commander II on the rear with no problems.

Here are the differances in those two tires. Not very much.

There is a tire size chart here in our Tech section that is really useful for knowing the differences between tires.

I told Luc today that all he had to do was look at my back tire, I guess he didn't know I had the commander II mounted on there :-)

I put a Dunlop Harley Davidson American 180/65B-16 on my 2009 Nomad and it fits and looks great. I'm amazed that after over 7000 miles it doesn't look like it's ever been on the ground and the ride is amazing. It handles like a sport bike yet is supple and quiet. I love it! :yep:
