View Full Version : VBA "State of the members" Status
Just a quick note to tell you that the VBA has experienced an influx of new members as of the last few months.
I mention this only because we have not seen this before. The VBA has averaged over one new member a day for the last 5 months. Over 150 new members have signed up since last March.
So, if you're seeing a lot of new faces around here all of a sudden.... that's why.
To all new members... welcome to the VBA!

I'm new here and very appreciative of this forum. I love riding and I love my Nomad and everything I've learned to maintain her and make her perfect for me is from you guys so thanks and am looking forward to meeting some of you at the Antlers rally. I'm 43, retired and loving it and plan to spend as much time in the saddle as possible

Definitely lucky and blessed in many ways. Being born American is an indredible blessing that too many take for granted. I'm retired as a Captain from the NYPD.

Thanks guys. I'm really looking forward to the Antlers rally. I'm planning on taking back roads the whole way, taking 4 or 5 days to get there and staying at mom n pop motels. I'm also planning trips w my oldest son who loves riding w me and my girlfriend. Riding on backroads thru beautiful country w my woman pressed up against my back is my heaven. So thank you again because you all honestly have made my mc experiences better

Class of January 92, Im 43 and retired out of HWY. Love the site and yes we are lucky to be born in U.S.A. and thank god I took that test in the late eighties. Stay healthy, exercise and enjoy retirement for at least 50 years. Wooohooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No disrespect intended....just envy. How the hell did you retire in your forties? Military?. Heck, I had to work like a dog until I was 67...
Well played. Congrats.
Best regards.

Welcome to everyone again and to those I missed.
See everyone at the National next summer.

Another newbie old fart here. Never too old to learn from other old farts that have been riding our types of bikes for longer than us newbies. And some of these folks are mechanical aces. Of course learning new things can work both ways to open minds. There aren't any members on here that are set in their ways are there?:D

In a lot of ways lucky bastard is pretty accurate cuz I've been blessed in many ways and am trying not to take any of it for granted. It all stems from good ole American freedom and opportunity.
