Hi there,
I have a 2011 Vaquero. I like the look of the one headlight, but I hate the louvers. It acts like an 'air dam'.
Are there any more aerodynamic replacements, other than the lights?

Nothing aftermarket. What do you have in mind? Anything that a little Fiberglass work over the stock louvre could do or help with?

Was there supposed to be a purpose for the louvers (other than looks)? I'm guessing not since you can add spot lights (and fill the holes). Could you channel the air from them to cool you/the bike?

Looks . . . and attitude . . .:bs:
I had wondered the same thing about fashioning something to use them and create a ram air system for the engine. Extra air flow for the rider could be good too. With a little duct work, air could come through in front of the forks, or remove a glove box to make a full pass through. :???:
I like the idea of a ram air mod  but I don't think it will be me.
I had an idea for something custom and bought a used set of black louvers on eBay to cut on and play with. That idea has passed, but I still have this extra set around. Who knows what will happen! :yep:

It was just a thought. I don't own a Vaq and probably never will but it seemed like a good idea since I hear alot of complaints about the heat.
