I'm thinking about it depending on location and whether I can get the time off work. (At the rate this past month has been going, I may not need to ask for time off.)

It's a thought and I would love to visit that part of the world.... but!!!! I would have to take at lest 2 weeks off for this one, over 3500 miles round trip... we'll see. And Larry, I've been thinking of changing my "underware" also.... for a C14, we'll see :-))

No, but it will, if I change the ride to a Concours 14...... I like to play with my toys :) then again I love my nomad and I would never get the $ back that I put into it... I guess I'll be riding her for a few more years... Actually, If I do this ride I'll head up to Calgary after the rally, meet up with friends that lives up there and spend some time riding the Canadian Rockies... may fly my girlfriend up and kill two birds with one stone type thing... just the to and from milage would be 5000 miles!!!! now that sounds like a plan or what!!!!!

I have the same problem as you Larry, well sort of. There is no way I can go with Cheryl or she would pretty much use up all here vacation for this one trip. She enjoyed the regional so much there is no way I could go with out her either.

Well it is couldn't and wouldn't. I get to go off and have fun quite often when she can't get away, but that is a few days here, a week there etc.
I figure 3 weeks would be about the right amount of time to go to the National.

At this point I'm planning on attending, would like to hook up with other riders, rather than
to make a trip like that alone. I've been to Ohio and back alone, so I know I can do it.
But company is always nice.

As larry mentioned, I have time issues, but it is not completely out of the question yet, just not probable.
Sly is also considering it.

The northeast group usually talk on the open forum. If you want someone to ride with to the National, there are a couple of people headed out there, Tomm from N.H. and Top Cat from upstate N.Y. You should contact them and see if they are riding straight to the rally or have other interest they plan on doing along the way. Both great people. If you wish to go through different states check with other riders from the other regions and see what their plans are.
