It was taken out in 2003 by a Tornado until then it was open to walk all the way across the gorge.

Looked like a lot of fun sorry I missed it, my wife and I rode through some of that area back in June after we dropped my daughter of in Michigan at her summer job.

It was kinda confusing the way they assigned rooms.
Beezer and Greg had a suite with a front porch on the main road.
Dave and Mary had a suite with a jacuzzi.
Norm and Cheryl had a room with a window that looked out into the hall and a bathroom and coffee making section so close you could have set on the john and made you morning coffee and drank it without getting up.
Cindy and I were in a room on the other side of the motel. I'm not even going to guess why that was.:D

It's the Kinzua Dam, on Rte 59 in the Allegheny National Forrest (Warren County). I rode out there Wednesday and had lunch at the boat marina on Lake Kinzua -- one of the largest dams east of the Mississippi. It controls the Allegheny River and was built in the 1960's.

Thats right! I've seen that dam like three years ago. I plan on riding the Allegheny national forest this year, maybe this weekend weather permitting.
