Kuryakyn has announced, "available this spring," new plug & play rear light controller for Kawasaki models 900-1500-1600 & Meanstreak.

Check www.kuryakyn.com (http://www.kuryakyn.com) for exact years
Part #4615.
MSRP 79.99

For those interested, it sure makes an easy job of changing rear lights to run, brake, turn.

Looks like they jacked the price up $20 already and the didn't mention Nomad unless the Nomad is included in the Vulcan 1500/1600 Meanstreak class.

OK, I found part # 4615 for $79.99 but it still says Vulcan 1500/1600 Meanstreak only.

I read it differently;
07-08 900
03-08 1600
02-08 1500/1600 Meanstreak

That chart is a little vague. It was the Classic that went with a 1600 in 2003 and the Nomad is quite a different bike starting in 2005. Would be good to get some clarification before ordering and sure would be good to get a report from someone who installs one when available.

More than likely it will still work, the lights are most likely all wired the same.

I read it the same way dkdixie did. According to that, it work match up with my 02. I tend to agree with ringadingh on the wiring part.

I bought the universal one - it worked fine for the first week or so then the signal lights started to flash fast then slow then fast? Beats the heck outa me what's wrong? Other than that it functions well.

I assume you have checked connections, especially ground.
Did you add load equalizer? Mine flashed fast until I added eq.

If so, suggest you call Kuryakyn tech dept (Richard) for advise. I'm sure they/he can help

Only starts the fast flashing after the bike has been operating for over one hour or so! It appears to be heat related. The Load equalizer is installed and all connections have been double checked and triple checked! Tried with Brake light flashie on and Brake light falashie off!

They also show this being offered as a kit with lenses included in the deal. Here is the description: Triple Whammy Run-Turn Brake Light Kit for Kawasaki Models (set) Fits: All '03-'08 Vulcan 1600 Models (ex. Mean Streak), the cost for this has a retail of $99.00. The Meanstreak is listed separately.

OK, so I wrote their sales and tech supports departments and was told by sales that this kit will be ready in mid May, but the tech department said end of summer--I think it maybe ready by Christmas if we're lucky. ???
