Most Bike Boards have something similar to this one and I'm curious just the same.

I'm looking at a new 2007 Nomad 1600 - all black - OTD $10500 - Crystal Lake IL.

What are you waiting for? Only problem is, at that price will they still be in business a year from now?

Looks like they are selling close to there wholesale price. not a good buisness plan unless you sell 1000's a year.

OTD - I paid about 9500 (Maryland), but this included a 06 750 trade-in. I still think I got a good deal.

Wow. Thats almost to good to be true here in Pa. I've seen dealers ask and get 10K for 3-4 year old ones. Granted they were really clean and had some of extras.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention I traded in a 2000 customized 1500 Classic and (as I tell the wife) it was on sale (2K off of the sticker price).

I paid 10k OTD for a year old 2005 1600 Nomad with 2800 miles on it and 2 year extended warranty, from East Bat Motor Sports in Hayward, CA.

When I was ready to buy I looked on Ebay and Cycle Trader. Best price was $11,400 on Cycle Trader at an out of state dealer. Called around locally and found a dealer 25 miles from me who would match that price. 2 words-Buy it!

I paid $12,200 OTD for a 2006 black Nomad from Kawasaki in Shreveport (August 2006). Since then, I have put on $1,500 worth of exhaust, seats, and bling (my wife thinks about $1,000).

We love it.

Never really should matter how much you paid as long as your "happy" with the product. Depending on what state or country you live in will have a huge bearing on the final OTD cost. Up here in Canada things just cost more due to having a smaller population and less movement of the product, so Kawi justifies it by charging us canucks more for the same product as our souther brothers. FYI Stony Plain, Alberta $13,800, not including taxes.
