Found a nail in my rear tire and I have been throwing around the idea of dark side (I know, I know) but not sure who would install it around here. I know the dealer is out, called Okie City Customs and damn near got hung up on. Since there is quite a few okie riders on here I thought I could ask here.
And no, I am still not 100% on the CT and I am also looking at E3's or the Commander II but would like to explore all options.

Look for an independent MC repair shop and ask them. They will be a little more receptive/
OR take the rear wheel off and take it in with the CT.
If they say anything just tell them you have a sidecar on the bike.
Good luck, hopefully you will find someone to do it so you don't have to remove the rear wheel if you don't want to.
Here where I live I'm lucky I have an independent shop that installs quite a few car tires.

Someone else might remember on here, but I saw list of states and towns where there were shops that installed car tires. Anyone remember?

Found it. Went to Google and typed in "darkside motorcycle installers" There is a bunch to choose from. I clicked on the first one darkside.nwff.info/dealers.php and that was the chart I remembered. Hope it helps, everyone.

Sweet the Discount Tire a mile from my house sells the tire I want less than tirerack and will install it. Kinda funny, I asked if he would install it on a MC rim and he went all quiet and then in a hushed tone said yes.

Yeah they don't have any listed for oklahoma, hehe the only mention of OK in that list is in the porn spam at the bottom.

Just a heads up, a nail can penetrate a car tire also. :yep:

Yeah I know, but at 107 installed and with the potential of at least twice the average mileage on the tire it seems TO ME to be a better deal and idea.

I was skeptical about going to the darkside also. I went for it and have loved every bit of it. I'm glad you found a place to do install it for you. I called several places around Tulsa trying to find somebody that would do it. The place I went wanted me to sign a waiver saying I wouldn't hold them liable if anything went wrong. But, when I had the work done, there wasn't a waiver for me to sign, just the normal "here's what we did" receipt.

I'm running a Bridgestone Turanza 195/60-16. I put it on a little over a year ago. Still looks great.

Yeah I am torn on the 195 or the 205, I read lots of VV/Vaqs have issues with it but little to no info on Nomads having issues. However, I don't really want to be the first to have such issues either, lol.

I run the same tire and same size I love it. 19,000 and less than 1/2 way worn down. I used a digital tread depth gauge when I first installed it and keep track of it.
Awesome in the rain.

Just get the 195 and be done with it. That's what I did.

Stick with the 195 and you won't have any worries at all on fitment issues. The 205 is pushing the boundries depending on which Nomad you have. Some of the older Nomads had to have the swingarms notched or grinded to make room for the tires. Some of the newer (1600's) Nomads can use a 205, but there is limited space (2 credit card thicknesses I believe), and that is just a little too close for comfort for my taste. Besides, the difference between a 205 and a 195 is not going to be all that much in the whole scope of things.

I didn't... the shop mounted and balanced it for me.
Unless they put the beads in and didn't tell me. :)
