Well now I went and did it, I had to take a 23 mile test drive. Currently own an 06 Honda ST1300 (but my back doesn`t like the riding position). I also own a 05 1500 classic with a drivers backrest wich works realy good for me. With that being said I think it`s time to let both bikes go and settle for one good bike. I realy like the cruise and radio and seemed like a nice plush ride. Also thought the rider air pocket was very calm. (I have read different opinions on this). The Voyager also shifted very nice. ( I was worried about that from earlier posts, I know some gears were changed in 2011). There was a fairly strong east wind today so I made sure I rode into it on the interstate. Not as powerful as the ST but seemed to go pretty good. Have also read at slow speeds it`s not quite as good as an Ultra classic, but I did several figure eights in the lot and thought it handled great. I rode a 2011 Ultra classic 608 miles in March. Anyway I think I will get this bike and hopefully soon.

I am surprised you would give up on the ST.

The Voyager is a fine bike, no doubt about it. But something wasn't right for me when I sat on it. Electra Glide Classic or Ultra Limited on the other hand is the one I like the most. They ride great, handle great and sound great.

Which ever you choose, good luck and have fun. Hope you will cure your back pain with your new bike.

Spam in the middle of a thread? How rude!

I really like the Ultras as well, they handle very nice, and don't have that heavy feel to them.

The Voyager also feels a lot more nimble than a Nomad.

Well I got the Voyager, and I know it didn`t happen until I post some pics. Will try to get some pics soon. I got the black and dark gray color, 18,000.00 out the door (16,800 before tax) Already have nearly 200 miles on it, would have more but the darn east wind has been cold, plus it`s raining now. So far it has put a :D on my face at every mile.
