The rear brake only gets used in parking lots and in emergency braking for me...and the pedal is in the way...I can't move my foot forward enough...anyone tried moving it, bending it, replacing it...anything to get it up, out and closer to the engine? or any combination of those options?

I've seen several folks on here that have cut the rear brake pedal in half to make more room.

Common complaint on the Nomad (first time I've heard it for the Vaq) and people have upgraded to the drifter peddle which is about an inch longer.

That's right! I forgot that the Vaq rear and toe shifter are a on piece design (bad design imo )

Not too sure what you can do without cutting/extending the oem peddle. If you're not worried about the chrome, you could easily have some weld an extension on it and then just paint it black.

Probably what I am going to have to do...it is powder coat flat black already...

Thanks utah
