There are people doing throttle mods, e mail me and I will provide names and number, some are less money than others. Had mine done and have to be real careful on the throttle, no lack of response.

Try barryge@comcast.net for the throttle mod. He did mine, and it's great

When i had slip-ons on my Vaquero, along with my own big air kit and a PCV i custom mapped on my dyno, i averaged 44 mpg. I remember one ride up US 27 to have lunch on Lake Okeechobee where we averaged about 65 mph i had 53.4 mpg showing on the dash.
High speeds going into a headwind kills the mpg for sure, as does stop and go city driving.

Have the Tornado Air Kit, Cobra Tri-Ovals, and PCv; averaging about 42.9 mpg @ 75 mph.
