Say the post for the Kuryakyn Offset Dually Highway Pegs with a great buy from JC Whitney. Only to find out today I am not going to receive them. All sold out but still listed on the website. Talked to some supervisor from anoyher land. Said tough luck!! Should have know better when they were like half price. JC Whitney won't see my business again!! Anyone get them for that price?

I think a few members here ordered them, lets see if anyone gets a set delivered.

I knew that price was too good to be true. Those were easily less than half of what I've paid for them. I don't like JC Whitney anyway - never have.

Would you have preferred they took your money and ran?

I'm not too surprised about them being out of stock. A tech guy probably mistyped the price and they will be "out of stock" until the price can be corrected.

Never used JC Whitney and now have a reason never to use them.

The 'ol Bait and Switch, eh?

Bait and switch is advertising a product for a great price and then trying to get the customer to buy a more expensive similar product.
From what I have read, no one was offered a more expensive item.

I tend to agree with Jared's assumption.

How long does it take to delete a web page??? Seconds when you find the issue. They should stand up and abide by their price if it is advertised.

I got the "out of stock" email yesterday. They haven't refunded my money yet. If they don't by tomorrow, I'll send them an email. Waterman is right. They should stand up and abide by their advertised price even if it was their mistake.

I tried to order a pair of rear leaf springs for my 40 Plymouth last year.
All I got was a runaround from them for 4 months.
Finally called them and told them where to stick it!
Found the company that they were buying from and saved over $125.00 on the same springs.. and got them in 3 days!

Now if I want anything I shop around first. You can usually find the same items cheaper if you will spend the time searching...

I tried to buy some atv tires in the fall from an online tire seller, they only had two in stock, when I phoned them to see how long to get the other six tires they told me the price on the website was wrong and they would not honour it.
I bought them somewhere else.

I'm sure JC Whitney wonders why they're the butt of most parts jokes. "You can have good quality or you can have JC Whitney quality."

JC Whitney is like harbor freight
You get cheap parts and tools that will get the job done but it aint snap-on or OEM

This thread made me go take a look at my order status with JC - under status it sez "refund pending". Bummer, dood! >:( (I'm not quite as irate as the little guy shows...retirement seems to help cool jets)

Got an email... out of stock... How do you keep selling if you know you are out of stock??
I just let this company borrow my money for 4 days....

I will probably never do business with them again. Insane.
