When I take my hands off the grips, I have to lean my weight to the left to to keep it going straight.
Is that an indication the alignment is out of whack?

It is an indication you should keep at least one hand on the freakin bars.:tup:

Most roads are crowned in the center to allow water runoff. That would mean a constant down slope to your right.

Yeah Loafer, I saw that article, but when I got to the following...
theta = 57*(a_r -a_f)/s_f
(b) if s_r and s_f are not the same:
theta = 57*(a_r/s_r - a_f/s_f)
:hmm:
...I decided to ask the question here.

I've never had a bike that would go straight when you let go of the handlebar. All would go left or right. Mostly left.

I don't know as both my hands are on the grips 99% of the time, especially at higher speeds. If you have to lean left why not shift your butt to the left and maybe that would balance it out. Hey, just having some fun with that one.

Righty-O, well some people aren't afraid of formulas and I didn't know which side of the equation you are on.
Meanwhile see if this makes things not so hard.

Try moving your wallet. :shrug: I've had several bikes that track clean without hands on the bars, including my '06 Nomad.

Nope. Makes "things" even harder.
