This looks to be one nice 1500, but $17,500 for a 10 year old bike with 49,000km, I paid way less for my 2008 brand new. http://wwwa.autohebdo.net/a/Kawasaki/VN%201500%20NOMAD/ST-MICHEL/Québec/5_10881182_CT2005510105747994/?ms=moto_vtt

I really appreciate all the customization that you can do with bikes... but I have always understood that custom parts rarely add any value to your bike on resale or trade. That's why I love buying gently used bikes on which the original owner already did all the mods I want and I still get to pay a lot less than a stock new model!

I think this dealership might have gotten into this bike too deep on the trade or perhaps it is an unrealistic consignment?

It is however a sweet custom alternative to a Vaquero!

Id be surprised if they get a third of that asking price. They are definately dreaming.

I'll just stick with my '06 "paid for" Nomad.
I still haven't seen any model from any company that would get me to change up. Its even getting hard to find a mod that I want. My Nomad is just the ride I want (and I already own it). :D

They might get the money.
I was watching an episode of Pawn Stars the other day and a guy on there said he was into his trike for 100K :wtf:
It was nothin' special as far as could see.

I'm not sure they could get $17k for it but I'll bet they could get $12k. That's alot of custom stuff. Paint, HD fairing, probably $3k in the stereo, custom rear turn signals in the bags, HD lowers, etc. Most people know they couldn't duplicate all that for cheap so they'll pay for it already done.

I hit the english button and got sent to their home page, couldn't get it to work well for me. So I looked through all the pages. Everything is expensive, no wonder the Northern Brothers like to come here. I didn't find the bike posted above so it might be a consignment.

The saddlebag crash bars should have been painted as well, or the front crash bars should have been left chrome.
Anyway I like it, color and all, I would value it at $9K US.

Gerry, Auto Hebdo is Quebec, when you hit English, it goes to auto trader, which is an affiliate and carries ads from the rest of Canada.

There is not a lot in the description anyway.

I think his wife is making him sell it but really doesn’t want to sell it, hence the price!!

I've done that before. My wife (ex now, thank God) wanted me to sell my '86 Pontiac Fiero GT. I had babied that car and had no intention of selling it. (Besides, I knew that she would spend most of the profit on her boyfriend.) It was worth about $4500 so I priced it at about $12k. Surprisingly enough, it never sold. :D

Reminds me of the episode of Seinfeld when George bought John Voight's car.

If you want to pay extra for a bike ridden by a guy who sings songs though his nose, go ahead, but I'd check under the set for discarded boogers first. :lmao::lmao:
