New Year... New Activities... Let's get crackin'...

The turkey's been eaten... the presents have been opened and the bubbly has been drunk. So, what's left? 2012, of course!!! There's alot to be thankful for in the VBA world... 2012 is going to be a great year for all of you. There's a lot planned that everyone can take part in. Below is a calendar of list of things coming this year:


- A new VBA apparel and accessory website will be unveiled offering VBA t-shirts, patches and a plethora of other VBA items.


- February is our "Donate to the VBA" month. Every year we hold a donation drive to raise money for the VBA. This helps keep the VBA free for membership and solvent. All donations made from the VBA website at http://www.vulcanbagger.org will go to the VBA.


- February 15th our first newsletter will hit the electronic stands. Called "The Vagabond", it will be produced every quarter of the year. Here are the publication dates and contributing authors:
February 15th - Robert "Trip" Hilliard
May 15th - Jared "Utah Motorcyclist" Gant
August 15th - Tim "Timay" Armagost
November 15th - Kris "Netnorske" Olsen


- 2012 will be a great year for Rides and Rally's...Here is a current list of what is planned so far..(check the regional boards for the latest information and registration requirements)...
Ride to Margaritaville - Sunday, April 15th
Southwestern Regional Rally - Tuesday, May 29th
Southcentral Regional Rally - June 7th
Northcentral Regional Rally - Friday, June 8th
Southeastern Regional Rally - Thursday, June 14th
Eastern Canada/Northeastern Regional Rally (combined) - July 16th
Western Canada/Northwestern Regional Rally (combined) - Tuesday, July 17, 2012

- July will be our VBA Photo Contest month
Start planning now to photograph you and your steed for the contest.


And, let's not forget our National Rally that's going to be held in 2013 in the great state of Colorado! More on that later on this year.
