My Speedo Goes To 140

Will my bike do that after it's broke in?
If not, why does it go so high?
What's it take to get it to go 140?
I'm as confused as a baby in a topless bar ???

Well I got mine to go a full 125+ MPH pretty fast and it's after that it climbed very slowly at that point but hey i got mods too on my bike so no problem....

VC: 125 seems a bit fast for our bikes since nobody i have ever talked to has goten that unless modified out alot?

I made mine just the other day pull 120 indicated but I had to keep it in 4th or it seemed to hit a wall at 100. The only mods I have are aftermarket pipes

You know I have had others say that but I was following some friends on their VTX 1800's and after a very long and fast stretch we all agreed that 125 + is capable on both machines.. Granted maybe all the stars were lined up that day but man My speedo was hovering and slowly climbing at 127. Like I said maybe it was my mods along with no wind that day but who knows all I can say is it was fast enough for me. :-) Next time I will take a pic if I do that again... which I'm sure I will once my new tires are on.

I think i menioned in the other thread.... I've hit 100 a couple times..... and i backed off..... CHP's have a great sense of smell.... but it would have kept going.. i wasn't full throttle.... mine's carbed.......and think i can take all you FI guys!!!

If your spedo went to 250 would you want to go that fast also??????

I think i menioned in the other thread.... I've hit 100 a couple times..... and i backed off..... CHP's have a great sense of smell.... but it would have kept going.. i wasn't full throttle.... mine's carbed.......and think i can take all you FI guys!!!

But you'll have to fix it and get off that honda! LOL

I'm not convinced any Nomad will go a true 125 mph UNLESS heavily modified(pipes, PClll, BAK) stock bikes I have seen will do good to hit 100-105 period. My 2cw!
