Has anyone tried these liners?
http://www.tlcproducts.com/servlet/Detail?no=388
Also noticed the Hopnel makes some bag liners and also a trunk liner. Anyone had an experience with the Hopnel liners?

I have TLC's liners for the 1600 and they are wonderful. And at 50 bucks, with your name embroidered for free, they are a great deal.
If you notice, Hopnel's are not custom made for the particular hardbags. TLC's are bag specific.

Ditto here too. I used them to got to Maggie Valley. They worked like a charm. NO ISSUES.

Thanks for the responses. I liked the TLC's better because of the fitment. Just wished they made a trunk liner too.
ballast and blueraven. Can you open them and use them while there in the saddle bag or do you have to take them out to open and get good axcess.

You have to remove them but it's not a big deal.

+1 on the TLC.
You can sort of just pull the top out half way to unzip and retrieve something, but as ballast says no big deal to pull them out all the way.

TLC liners are great, I just leave one of the top zippers open and I put stuff in and out of the bag without removing the liner from the hard bag, no problems.

Interesting! I was considering picking up the Kawasaki OEM bag miners but these are like 1/2 the price. How are they quality wise? Comparable to the Kaw product?

I've been using a set of the TLC bags for over 6 years now, and they still look as good as new. They are great! If you have the top opening hard bags ('09 and later) I don't see any problem with opening them and using them while there in the saddle bag, since the access zipper to the bag liner is on top.

I have the aftermarket bags and the quality is a as good as any. Id save the cash and get the cheaper bags myself.

Brent, ditto on everyone's comments about the TLC bags. I got them this summer for my 2010 Nomad. Great fit and good quality.

I'm not usually a cheep S.O.B. I haven't invested in the liners since I am OK with the way a 89¢ reusable grocery bag works with the side opening bags.

The OEMs from Kawasaki are way too expensive, even buying them on eBay you do not save much, but using the TLC liners is the way to go and leaving one of the top zippers open as stated above works great to put stuff in and take out of them quickly. The ones TLC make for the Vaquero fit nicely and have more features than the OEMs, plus you have your name put on them or whatever you want to say as long as it is not trademarked.

Now about that name thing. If you travel with your sweetie, you can put your name on one and hers on the other, great for knowing who's is who's in the hotel room. If you do that and sometimes ride alone with the boys bring a bit of black tape with you, unless of course you like being called Cheryl, or Nancy or Betty all weekend. Been there, done that.http://www.vulcanbagger.com/forums/images/icons/crazy3.gif

Well, I ordered the bag liners from TLC on the 27th of December. It showed they shipped on 1-12-12 and finally arrived via pony express (USPS Priorty Mail) today. I was beginning to wonder if I got scammed. Very nice set of bags but can't say anything good about the USPS pony express mail system!

I had a similar experience when I ordered them for a trip I was taking in August last from Toronto. I had to leave without them three weeks to the day I ordered them!! Found out they arrived 20 minutes after I left on the trip with my bin liners!!!
Great bags....lousy shipping!!

The reusable cloth grocery bags fit nice @ 2 each side. Just like the pricey custom ones, put in too much they wont fit. I'm just not vain enough to spend a bunch of money so somebody else gets to see my fancy luggage go from the parking lot to the room. I also opt for strapping the appropriate sized bag or suitcase to my fender over a fancy trunk. :yep: Some call it "cheap", I call it practical.

I actually called tlc today to find out what was going on with the liners I ordered 01/08. The lady that answered the phone was very nice, but she said the company owner recently had a stroke and the people still working there are running a little behind filling the orders.
I was feeling kind of bad about complaining until I signed back into this thread and found that the delivery time has always been like this.:hmm:

I did get mine from TLC, it took 5 weeks to get them, but they are very nice liners and the embroidery on them is well done, too. Have used them already a few times, they are really nice to have and use.

My wife and I have them as well, with "His" and "Her's" Embroidered on them. Great quality bag for the price, and the inside pockets are very usefull to.
Nice to pack for a trip and say, "Hunny, you can take what ever you can fit in this bag"
Now that we have the tour pak,.. that doesn't always work, but she understands that is available for our jackets and helmets at stops, or fresh Amish pies from Lancaster on the way home!

I ordered my TLC bag liners in the late evening of 1-29-12.
On 2-21-12 I rec'd a message that they had been shipped.
They arrived on 2-23-12.
I think that is great service for custom ordered products.
The bags themselves are very high quality and workmanship.
I am very happy with my order.
I ordered my bags about 3 years ago and they came super fast maybe a week or so to Canada. Perhaps they had bags stock piled back then and just needed to do the name embroidery, then once the style of the Nomad hard bags changed they sold less and stopped making them ahead of time.
