Does anyone know what the difference would be in light output or pattern for these 3 headlights? I need a couple 5 3/4" headlights for my fairing project. I refuse to use sealed beams (what the OEM headlights were) and can't see spending $200 for 2 brand new ones (Dyna/Sportster).

The first one looks clearer but that doesn't necessarily mean the light is more usable. The 3rd one has a wierd shape in the lines on the glass but maybe that doesn't mean much. I don't know much about headlights. Generally, I just buy whatever fits my vehicle.

Check Harbour Freight, I found some 100w halogen bulbs there.
How are you planning on aiming these once installed?

I'm still running the stock center lamp. I added Chuckster's Customs light bars and replaced both of the bulbs with 100w. Those baby's are bright in the day time.

FYI Joe doesn't ask me to promote his stuff. I just happen to like it so I share the info. :yep:

I can change to higher watt bulbs any time. I'm not sure I'll need them with dual headlights. I'm just trying to figure out what the difference is in lenses. I had spot lights and Chuckster rocks.

Youll have to try and research it on the internet and hopefully someone can explain it .

Functionality aside, the first one has a much nicer appearance. I'm just guessing here, but if you put 100 w bulbs in any of the three it will probably be hard to pick out the difference in brightness with the naked eye. They'll all be super bright. The differences will be how far they project the light down the road and the pattern.

That'll work. Thanks.
