I have tried to buy chrome here for the bike not available so I bought a back rack and a light bar on ebay shipped from the USA got stung for tax work out expensive
Can anyone give me the name of any good chrome supliers or an I best sticking to ebay?

Welcome from a Brit in Ontario. Not many accessories for the post 08 Nomads so far.

Take a look at http://www.kawasaki.com/KawasakiNew/Accessories2/home.aspx

I bet there is a big difference in price between prices in the U.S and U.K dealers.
Big difference in prices between U.S and Canada too.

Been to Blackpool many times.

Welcome aboard, you really have to be careful when ordering from Ebay, many times the shipping charge and taxes take away any incentive. Courier companies are also very expensive and usually tack on a hefty brokerage charge.

Pretty sure there's an ebay.uk. Might eliminate some of the problems/cost of shipping from here to there although the selection of non-English bike parts might be slim.

Just tried one of thoses web sites you gave me, the Kaw U S A site.
Made me feel a bit sick, the price of new bikes over there is thousands of pounds cheeper.
Im living in the wrong country

Most things in Canada are cheaper than the U.K except any kind of insurance. How about $1100 for my 2010 Voyager. What is the cost of the insurance on your 09 Nomad (Vulcan Classic) in the U.K ?

Hi Redjay
The price of my insurance was £390.00 I had no no claim discount it has been 10 years since I sold my last bike (goldwing).

Welcome aboard Bygum. I haven't been to the UK yet. Recently figured out that I was living in the wrong state, so I moved.

I'm OK with the growing old part, but I refuse to grow up.

Look on Kawasaki's UK website. You can buy the Vulcan Emblem for the 1600 Nomad and put it on your passenger backrest. If they sold the Vulcan 2000 LT over there you can get the passenger chrome floorboard covers for just over $10 US and rear brake reservoir cover in Chrome for around $45 US. You can also replace the black covers on the clutch and brake housings with the chrome ones that come on the Voyager. Not sure if the part numbers are the same but the Vulcan Emblem for the passenger backrest, floorboard covers and reservoir cover I bought are 56052-0478, 14091-0229, and 14091-0352.

390 quid equates to about 600 Canadian dollars, still cheap by Canadian standards, almost half of what I pay for bike insurance.
And we only get to ride from April to November at best.

When were you last up the mini Eiffel Tower ? For the Canadians and Americans there is a tower in Blackpool where Bygum is from that is somewhat similar to the Eiffel Tower, but smaller.

Hi Red
Its been many of year since I was up the tower though I pass it every day in my work,I need a photo of it with my bike.
The BBC are holding the final of strictly come dancing this weekend at the tower ballroom (the home of ballroom dancing) they say.It would be nice to get some of those dancers on the photo.

The last time I was up the tower was probably in the 70's. I remember there was a ballroom at the base of the tower. I think there was also an large aquarium ? We are probably going to come over to the U.K next summer. My mum and sister live in Stockport.
I am going to have to remember to slow down. I got 3 speeding tickets in 2 weeks in 2008. Damn speed cameras everywhere.

Welcome from Central IL! Chrome add ons are a bit limited but I am sure there will be some more things in the future especially if the Nomads go pretty much unchanged for a few more years.

Thanks for the welcome Racinfan, just have to wait a little to get more chrome?.
Red, the aquarium is still there with the ballroom circus and many bars they are spending millions on doing it up.
