Guys

I just had a chance to test my new venture lithium battery heated glove liners in 29 degree temps. Here is my assessment if its helpful to anyone.

The batteries are slow to charge. About 3 hours to get a solid charge. The liners themselves are well made; thin and light. not too bulky under regular gloves. The dexterity with the liners on is OK. Takes a little patience to fasten helmet with the liners on. But overall they fit better than most i've tried. The batteries are situated in he back of the glove. The batteries are relatively lite but awkward. I found it works well to put liners on before jacket. The jacket going on over the liners holds the batteries in place well.

I rode 40 minutes to work. Again temp. was 29. Averaged about 55-60 mph. I started off with liners on high and used a pair of leather lightly lined gauntlets over them. ($25 on sale at cycle gear). I had to stop 5 miles down the road and cut temp. to low. It wasn't burning my hand by any means but i just simply didn't need that much heat. Very comfortable on low. I held my hands in air several times to see if i could get my hands cold but all was good. When i got to work, i was extremely comfortable.

Time will tell more. I'll report back on how they do on a long ride of several hours and how they hold up in regualr use. I do know the batteries are supposed to last 3 hours on high and about 7 hours on low. (we'll see)

Overall, very satisfied with use in cold weather so far.

Thanks for the report. I am looking into getting some sort of heated gloves this spring. Not sure if I will go with battery like you have or the ones that hook to the bike.
Keep us posted.
