Making name change preparations...

Just to keep everyone posted.... I'm currently putting the finishing touches on a new logo as well as a new logo for each region.

I'll also start making changes to the website in a day or so.

Anyone that wants to can go into their profile and change KawaNOW to VBA on their footer and anywhere else where KawaNOW is displayed.

Once ready, I'll post the new logo here in this thread and also send it to everyone that needs it pronto.

Since I ride a Nomad I will just keep things as they are if that is possible. I joined KawaNOW and still consider the forum as such. Just the thoughts of one old timer.

You don't consider a Mazda Tribute and a Ford Escape the same vehicle and create a single forum for both vehicles. Although they are the same platform they are different vehicles they have SEPARATE forums.

I don't mind making the change in my signature etc., but the idea of keeping the numbers the same, but changing the name to VBA# for those who sign up from here on out and keeping the old members as KawaNOW# seems kind of cool. Kind of a way to recognize those who have been around for a while. Or maybe even having KawaNOW/VBA#1234 for the older members and just VBA# for the newbies.... Just thinking out loud. I'm pretty easy going and will go with the flow of whatever is decided.

I like Jareds idea of "KawaNOW/VBA" in the sig of those that have started at KawaNOW. (Although in my case, barely.)

The number you have will dictate what group you originally signed up with.
Such as:
Wolfy joined 10/29/2011, I didn't see a number, but he is the first name posted on the members list. So whatever his number is would be the dividing of KawaNOW and VBA. A number is a number that's all. I know I joined K NOW and that's all that matters to me.
