South central 2012 rally

The rally will be the 7th 8th and 9th of June 2012 so far hear is the list I have, the other thread has been closed.:tup:
The rally will be in Van Buren Arkansas I will post the motel as soon as Budman lets me know that everything is OK.

The rates are:
1 person $42.80 Tax Included
2 persons $44.00 Tax Included

This is located at the intersection I-540 & U.S.64

I told him most would check-in on Wed. 6/6/12 and check-out on Sun 6/10/12
He said no pets but I spoke to him about Kathryn's dog and he said they could work it out.

I don't know if she's coming but I thought I would mention it.

If you look at the base hotel, you will see some room are on a second story. When I made my reservations, I stressed I wanted a room that did not have a room above it. Just saying - did not want a bunch of drunk bikers above me keep me up past my bed time.

Also a Note to Oldbikers - my friend Jim will be attending and he has made reservations for a room.

Just an FYI. The left side of the motel is two story.
I'm guessing about 6-8 rooms are upstairs.

Yes, I know what you mean!! When my friend called, he talked to Kenny's wife and that worked ok.

Annette had to call three or four times before she got anyone to answer the phone, we just figured Kenny was out of pocket.

Don't give up. Would hate to not see you at the Base. It took me two days and 4 calls to get a room.

I went by and talked to Kenny today.
I mentioned that some were having trouble getting him on the phone.
He said that he was gone sometimes getting supplies etc.
So just call back would be my only suggestion.
He wanted me to tell everyone that he only had 15 non-smoking rooms.
But, the week before we arrive he is having the carpets cleaned and that should help with the cigarette smell.
The limited number of king size beds, non-smoking rooms etc. is the price we pay for basicially having the motel to ourselves.

Yes, the base motel is booked.
You might try the Super 8 or Motel 6 in Van Buren.
Al said he got a good rate at the Days Inn in Alma.
It's just a few miles down Hwy 64.

Worked about 70 hours a week for the last 4 weeks to get done what had to be done before I Left for rally. Completed today. Going in Monday for about 2 hours to line out crew then off for rest of week. Leaving Tuesday and will be in Van Buren on Wednesday afternoon. See all of you there.
