Was sitting in my chair this morning watching Disaster DIY "Slacker Siding" cottage editon on HGTV (guilty pleasure). As the host is speaking with the home owner, the Father in Law rides up on a Nomad, Looked a lot like Bones569's bike. Thought it was cool that the Nomad was on Tv. Anyhow just a little FYI. Perhaps it was one of our members, perhaps not.

It's all about what you're looking for. I used to be big into Pontiac Fieros (owned 4 of them). I'd spot a Fiero everywhere, TV shows, movies, on the street. Now that I have a Nomad, I see them much more often than before.

I saw a really rough fiero last week. Was in front of a store, so despite it's rough appearance it must have run.

Was it on fire? :D I worked with a guy who liked Fieros. One burned up in the parking lot at work. So what did he do with the insurance money? Bought another one. That one caught fire a year later and took his carport with it.

If the Fiero caught fire, it was due to poor maintenance. Only a handful (like 100 or so out of about 350,000 made) had "the factory defect" which was only a too short dipstick. And the 100 were only '84s. I've owned 4 ('85SE, '85GT, '86SE and '86GT). Never had so much as a whiff of smoke from any of them.

my neighbor just bought one off Ebay and had it trailered over. It runs, but a little rough. Needs work all around, which he is used to, as he fixes them up slowly till they shine like new or even better. Neat little car, put those gull-wing doors on it and it reminds me of a delorian from Back to the Future, LOL!

I am always lookin for nomads :) Kind of gets in the blood I guess:) A fellow in my town just bought a new nomad so I'll be lookin for him :):)
