In making KawaNOW membership certificates, I've been running into alot of people that either haven't joined or don't know their KawaNOW membership number.

I realize there are a number of things we have to keep up with nowadays.... ID's, passwords, addresses, phone numbers.. etc, etc. It's not fun and as we grow older, it gets even more difficult..... I understand... believe me, I understand.

But..... if you are a member of KawaNOW, you need to remember and refer to your membership number on everything concerning KawaNOW. It's not that I'm trying to be big brother, but getting a number and remembering it, makes you a part.... kindred, if you will.

So, if you don't know your number, refer to the membership listing at
http://www.kawanow.org/pdf/kawanowmembers_sorted.pdf .

If you don't see yourself listed, chances are you've never joined. To do that, feel free to fill out and send in the app at http://www.kawanow.org/join.htm . It's easy and best of all, it's free.

:shrug: Or if you're starting to forget things, just stick 'em in your Sig with your name and E-mail. It gives you another place to look after you forget this thread too. . . Then people who want to find you outside of the forum can do so without having to look you up or wait for you to look at the other thread that you forgot to look at after you posted it. :tup:

The link Trip provided is listed by state.
There are only 14 members from New Hampshire and none from Belmont.
So I guess you are not a member yet.;)

I fully agree that each member needs to list their member number, AND the year and size of their bike in their signature. This makes things a lot easier, especially when you inquiring about something specific.

What the rest of them said ^^^. I kinda like looking at some of the numbers if only to see about how long someone's been around. I get a kick out of seeing some of them. (Like CJs HOG number. :) )

I'm not much of a computer guy. Kris Olsen stopped me in his work truck while I was riding to talk about our Nomads. He invited me on board. Before that I hadn't heard of the forum. :shrug:

Yep RickyBoy, I do recycle numbers... but it doesn't happen very often.
The rule is that once you register and receive a number, it is yours for life, even if you go to the darkside and get another brand of bike. The only thing that changes is your status.

I recycle some numbers because the numbers belonged to some that either turned it in to me and didn't want it or they were kicked off the forum. (usually, it's the same person... lol.)
