At Duke University , there were four sophomores taking chemistry and all
of them had an "A" so far. These four friends were so confident, that the
weekend before finals they decided to visit some friends and have a big
party. They had a great time, but after all the hearty partying, they
slept all day Sunday and didn't make it back to Duke until early Monday
morning. Rather than taking the final then, they decided that after the
final they would explain to their professor why they mis sedit.
They said that they visited friends but on the way back they had
a flat tire. As a resu lt, they missed the final. The professor agreed
they could make up the final the next day. The guys were excited and

I worked in a High School and other schools resurfacing slate chalkboards around Malden in the beginning of '78. At night I'd go to Kenmore Square to a place called the Rathskeller. (spelling ?)

Heard of kenmore square....lived in Randolph...by Quincy...lol got lost once in boston....ended up in the combat zone!!! that was an experience 4 a young teen!!

...I remember reading on one of the threads that you were having a fan/overheating problems and that you had fixed your saddlebag....got any pics????

No pics yet........ went for a 175 mile ride to the mountains Sunday.... the accident is in my head still.... left twisties cause me to slow way down....uncertain of what line to take... I'm "arm leaning" the bike to the left, keeping my body more upright......... lean normal to the right....

It overheated at the gas station when I left it idling and I realized the fan wasn't coming on.. it was fine on the ride though, just no fan... gotta get it checked.

Also.. it will start in Neutral only.... and ONLY if the clutch is NOT pulled in!

Glad to here she's up an riding I'm sure the fan will be and easy fix, the clutch don't have a clue never even heard of that. but shes riding and thats what counts. ride safe and take sue to the coast sounds like fun.

I'd love to ride the PCH to Seattle. It's my fantasy to ride the whole west coast with the ocean on my left and all the way back again.

Quite a trip from Pa!!! Would be beautiful though!

I've got a friend north of LA and often thought of renting a bike and going north from there but doing it from San Diego would be that much nicer. If I really had the time I'd leave from Florida and ride along the Gulf to Arizona and over to Calif. and up from there. I think I'd rent a Goldwing for either trip.
