I have only seen one type envelope and it shows how many posts you have in that particular thread.

There is four types that I have seen and I am sure you have too.

One is an envelope with what looks like a paper sticking out of it with a red triangle on it. This one I know if you run your cursor over it it tells you how many posts you have in that thread.

One is an envelope with what looks like a paper sticking out of it with just writing on it. Don't know what that signifies?

One is an envelope with what looks like a paper sticking out of it with writing on it and maybe it has flames coming up from the paper. Don't know what that signifies either?

One is an envelope that is Grey like the back ground and you can just barley see it.

Right click on the icon then select View Image Info. It'll give you the name of the icon which should help you figure out what it is. Works for any image. You can see the image name/where it originated (at least if you're using FireFox as a browser). I don't use IE at home and I don't have time at work to mess with all that but it should work the same.

I only see one. Red with yellow sticking out. If I run my curser over it, it says add infraction to and the name of the person. Since you started this Tim I clicked on it but it appears that I am not allowed to give warnings or add infractions to regional leaders. Figures, your like Teflon, sh*t just slides right off.>:(:D:D

In the very far left margin there are 4 different type envelopes. Those are the ones I am talkin' about.
I have to be Teflon to put up with the abuse I get on this forum for no reason at all.:wtf:

Shouldn't the Admin. have informed the regional leaders what all these little things are representing so they could answer all of our questions, instead of having to monitor everything themselves? Now back to my dungeon...

The Administration is probably a couple retired guys setting behind a curtain.
They would be board if they had others answer the questions.
Maybe you should just stay in the dungeon. By by

The grey envelope came up on posts where I was the last to post (so far).

It also may be the ones I posted on today; but don't know that yet.

No, bottom of the page, left side. All the folders are there with a description of what they mean.

Informed them what the folders mean? Well we did...that's why they're all listed at the bottom left of the page...for everyone to see them.

Go the the main-page of each forum and you'll see the icons and definitions of what they mean.

Greg, that is where my problem is.
I go to "New Posts" every time I log on.
I don't go to individual main pages.

I think you were looking on the pages where the posts are (show_thread page), instead of the pages where the threads are listed (show_forums page).

You would only see them on the thread listing page since that's the only place you would see the folder icons.

You are correct.
If you haven't noticed http://www.vulcanbagger.com/forums/images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif I seem to have trouble when it comes to change.
