I know that some of you are using an HD style tour pack that has the wrap around back rest, but I am wandering if there is a wrap around back rest that will attach to the stock backrest frame of a 2008 Nomad. I have searched and so far have come up empty. I thought I had found one but PHCustoms no longer makes them. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Check out Douster's Nomad. He has the arm rests. Might be an option for you.

Ive never seen one made for the Nomads, I think the old GoldWings had a backrest with the armrests available.

You could probably buy the wrap-around cushion and mod up a bracket for it. Not sure how that might look visually speaking....

I have never seen an aftermarket pad like you are wanting.
oldbikers put some 1500 goldwing armrest on his.
Gadget's site has some info on how to make your own pad.

Thank you all for the input. My wife really wants the wrap around backrest that the tourpacks have but I havent decided yet if I want to go with a tourpak or not. Should I decide to go with the tour pack is there a quick detach that can be used for the Nomad?

Get the tourpak and enjoy the wrap around backrest and a lot of useful storage capacity.

Tour Packs are like cell phones. You never really thought you would need or want one until you had one...then...you wonder how in the world you ever got by without it. You will come to love a Tour Pack in no time at all. The convenience for storing things is awesome...!

I'm thinking there's a write up on either Gadgets or Eurekaboys site. I know it's somewhere out there.
