Can you let me know the correct size of the front engine guards on a 2011 Nomad? I want to pick up highway pegs and can't find my caliper. Are they 1.25 or 1.35?

They are 1.25 What kind are you getting. I have the iso dualy peg from Kuryakyn. I like them.

No. I wish i would of got them. I got the Kuryakyn tour-tech cruise mount. Can't fold the pegs straight up. They only go half way. They are meant for harley crash bars. I may sell them and get offset ones.

I see a lot of Kury longhorn highway pegs on here.
As a matter of fact, I see them on my bike.:D

Mine too. Very adjustable to get the position you want.

same here - but you best ck them each time you ride. They loosen up fast!! Cking them is part of my pre-ride routine.

Did not want to start a new thred so will post this here. The price for a new right side front engine guard for a 2010 1700 Nomad is $110.00 + tax from the Kaw dealer. I, don't think that is to bad but thought I would see if anyone knows of a lower price. The guard got bent when I hit a deer on 12 OCT 2011.

bikebandit.com shows the price as $99.95 for the right side. By the time you add in shipping, the $110+tax from the dealer is probably the better deal.

Yap I've had them on nearley all of my scooters. They were $127 for the ones on my new Vaquero. There GREAT.

Thanks for the info. I am going to get the guard from the Kaw dealer.
