I'm just trying to keep this group on the straight and narrow, Tim. Someone has to do it.

I have now gained a new lease on the "Harley-Bashing" since I not only own a Harley... I also own a Can Am Spyder:D
Talk about "bashing"... I get the most direct "bashing" from Harley owners... but I can also tell you... the Spyder received the most attention from Harley riders than any other.
This has been "enlightening" to me. When on the Spyder... the only riders not waving are BMW or "hard-core" HD (laugh) riders.
When on my HD... these same people wave.
Hey... I have taken a less defensive position on what a person rides (and I felt I always have) now that I have made several changes in what I ride lately, it really doesn't matter... it just simply doesn't.:tup:

HD bashing is getting old! I love to rib Scott, Dave and Greg on a regular basis but I keep it in perspective. All three have nice rides and I'll ride with any of them. Are there HD owners that think if you don't own a HD your riding crap? Sure.... Let us not act like one of them! We don't dog Gene, Ponch or any of our other brothers on bikes that are not Nomads. Tease them in good spirits. Not degrade them.. JMHO....

Might be keeping us on the "straight," Scott. However, judging by many of our profiles, better put some more effort into the "narrow." ;-}

What a great explanation!!
Hail damage on the ass......ROFLMAO!!!!!
That was pretty good, and unfortunately pretty accurate. The wet t-shirt contest at Biketoberfest was not a good thing at all.....
I have never really been bashed about my ride no matter what it was. People joke sometimes and that is all good. Perhaps I just don't pay attention to the kind of people who would actually bash my ride. The people I ride with actually ride (many brands) and enjoy riding so that probably makes a difference. I do see these stereo type people "If you don't ride a Harley, you are not a man..." "My Metric only cost half as much as your Harley and it is way better..." etc. but they are just comic relief and anything that type of person says reflects more on their insecurities than on any type of bike.

Why would any one want to be nice to Dave for a whole month.:shrug:
The warm welcome feeling I get here is just so overwhelming. :)
