A buddy of mine bought some matuza bags for his 1500 Classic. He mounted them with their brackets to their specs and they cracked. They will not replace or fix them after a few months.Bad Business!

Here's his post on facebook:
For anyone in the market for saddle bags, DO NOT BUY FROM "MUTAZU". I ordered some in April of this year, used the hardware they sent. 5 inch crack in them and they will not do squat about it.

They are pretty cheap quality bags to start with, but thats still not good business.

If he paid with a CC, he can "stop" the payment.

I've heard about them breaking before. It seems like the mounting hardware is the main problem and is very poorly designed

I also sent them a email the other day, and they told me there warranty is for only 7 Days.

I have seen their site for years now and do remember the brackets being free.

On our first bike we had already installed the leatherlyke brand or we would have used theirs. The leatherlyke had a cheesy mod. for the turn signals and were kinda huffy puffy about their issues when I talked to them. But their bags did hold up 99.9% but at a cost of $400.00.

Also while surfing for bags the cost adds up to almost $700 on similar matuza bags. Did your friend loose both bags due to cracking ? and could he find a way to modify the mounting supports and or use 3rd party supports?

I went to Matuza's site a few minutes ago and do not see Matuza's Warranty Information ? =r=

The Tsukayu bags I put on my C50 were very high quality. You get your money's worth from them, and their service is top notch too.
