Traveler, if your talking about the Achilles Platinum, it does have a pretty good UTOG rating (420-AA-A) but one of the things I look for in a CT for a MC, is that it must have round shoulders, I can't tell real well from their photo, but the shoulders look pretty square on that one.

Also, please be aware that IMO tire-easy leaves a lot to be desired as far as a company I would deal with. I ordered a SP5000 from them last spring. The tire they shipped was over 4 YEARS OLD.
They refused to reimburse me for return shipping. Needless to say I won't be purchasing anything from them again.

I went back and looked at some pics of tire again , it is pretty square . thanks for heads up on web site also. I just liked the directional pattern of tread . I think it was going to be to wide any way.

Traveler, I know what you mean about the uni-directional tread pattern, That is one of the prime reasons I chose the GYTT. There are a lot of folks running a 195 tire on a 1500, and if you look at the size 195/55-16 (only 1" smaller in diameter than a stock 1500 rear tire), there are a lot more options with the uni-directional tread pattern. One tire I really like is the General G-MAX AS-03, another is the Kumho Ecsta SPT XRP. Check out this site, there are several pages of choices in that size.

Yea, they took it back...only cost me freight both ways, approx 45.00 experience dealing with tire-easy.
Forgot to mention, purchased Bridgestone EL-402 from Tire Rack, was here in 3 days. Tire was just over 4 months old!!
Of the three car tires I've had, this Bridgestone is, by far, the best!

The tire I run and like is one that Tire Rack doesn't carry. Continental Vanco 2 195/65-16. Slightly larger than stock. Corrects the speedo to around 5%.
