I recently installed the hand shields/guards made by Chukster. When I got back from my last ride to the Sandhills (450 miles) I could have easily carved my name in the bug guts on the shields. My friend riding with me had bug guts covering his black gloves. Also, with AM temp in the high 30s, my hands also noted the lack of cold wind hitting them.

in cold weather I put a set on my Nomad and on my Wife's 900 LT.
They work great.

Looks like they would work well, but I doubt its something Id put on my bike. I installed handlegrip heaters instead.
