My bike is a 06 Nomad

In my race cars I use synthetic oil

Could I use the same? Whats the weight? How many quarts? What filter works best for these bikes?

thanks Guys

I used the Rotella T6 in my previous oil change. I am now using Valvoline Motorcycle Oil 4T full synthetic combination of 20W-50 and 10W-40 and Bosch 3300 oil filter. Runs smooth and shifts smooth.

Al, I think that you had better recheck that. The 06 is 3 quarts.

I use the Rotella dino oil, but if I could get synthetic as cheap as you guys in the states Id probably use that.

I used the Mobile1 VTwin 20w50 at my last oil change before a 3000 mile summer trip to Key West and it seems to be fine. I've used Rotella T6 5w40 with no problems. No complaints with the Mobil1 4T Racing 10w40. Good results with Rotella T 15w40 dino oil. Anything that is JASO-MA rated should be a very good choice. Anything rated Energy Conserving will be a bad choice since your clutch is also bathed in this stuff. I change every 7500 miles per the manual and so far more than 50,000 miles with the motor very tight and running great. Your mileage may vary. Void where prohibited.
