The 13th Annual Lehighton Bike Night will be held on August 13th, 2011

Location:
-Downtown, North and South Streets, Lehighton, PA

Starts at Noon!


This is a nice event and centrally located. ;)
Here's that chance for a get together for some Eat's, and a few chuckles.

On Saturday morning I have to pic up my trailer from my son's place empty it stop at Lowe's on my way home. Then I should be free for the afternoon. I hope

I always wanted the opportunity to me some of our local members. I think my wife has other plans for me that day but I'm gonna check and see if I can get out of it. It looks like it can be good time.

How about the Diner?
I have about a 110 mi ride and was just thinking a place to meet would be a good idea as the town gets so crowded. Also if anyone else cares to join us there would be a place to meet & greet before going into town. http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif

Looks like I'll be alone as Gail has a bad knee and has a problem walking . http://s2.images.proboards.com/tongue.gif

So far the weather promises to be OK so it's looking good for a go!

As I'll have about a 2.5 hr. ride I'll probably leave early to beat the heat.

http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif I thought we had a nice day and seen some nice rides. But without a doubt that Indian was really beautiful.

http://s2.images.proboards.com/shocked.gif The only downside for me was the ride home in that torrential rain. That was the longest ride in heavy rain I ever made. http://s2.images.proboards.com/tongue.gif

A couple of times I had to go around cars that were going so slow (about 5 to 10 mph) because they couldn't see, I was tempted to stop a few times but didn't because I knew they were predicting more thunderstorms later and I had a long haul if I wanted to get there before dark. :-/
The rain was so heavy that I was soaked through the rain gear it got in through the vents, up the sleeves from raising my arms to see and even around the collar. http://s2.images.proboards.com/tongue.gif Gail said I looked like a drowned rat when I pulled in. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif
