Yeah, but the look on their faces as you pull up with a bike with a golf bag on the back would be priceless. ;)

I guess if I golfed that would be something I might need. I just can't see chasing a little white ball all over a cow pasture though. That is time I could be riding.

Years ago I built an attachment very similar to that one, but I use it to carry my ice auger on the back of my Argo when we go fishing. It works great.

If the day is nice enough to play golf, it is nice enough for a good ride! I'll save the $380 and ride instead.

I don't play golf. Funny thing is my dad was a greenskeeper. Tried it a few times, but it's frustrating.

I tried it a few times years ago, and found out I didn't enjoy it, was bad at it, and it was boring to me. One of my most memorable golf days was when we had a power cart, I enjoyed driving it a lot more than golfing. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif
Now hunting and fishing can get really exciting! ;)

Like a lot of folks that give up bikes when they get married, I gave up hunting. I still have all the hardware, but I don't go. Part of it is that I moved and the state I live in is shotgun, which I find utterly ridiculous. The other part is I don't have a place to go here. I hate state land. It's like a war zone, or it was in NY. Anyway, I'll get back to it someday. Never gave up the bike though.

I wish I were paid like those guys that get to walk all over chasing that little ball. I'd laugh all the way to the bank.

I tried shooting skeet. That's a lot of fun. I'd like to take it up if it weren't for being in California and there's hardly any place to shoot.

I am talking about hunting deer with a shotgun. I was never into skeet or trap. To me, the shotgun is just a tool to kill rabbits and other little critters. I used to go the rifle range 1-2x a month. I reloaded and took pride in getting the groups smaller as well as getting very comfortable with what I could do with what I had. I used to shoot pistols too. I left the reloading stuff with my brother so I have to start from scratch. Anyway, I will, just not right now.

What would be the max range when shooting a shotgun slug? I would imaging it would not be too far.

Not unless you get the saboted stuff and even then. It's the same with muzzleloaders, they try to cheat to get rifle performance out of something that was never meant to...

Thing is, you can shoot Coyote all year long with a rifle, but deer, it's shotgun, muzzleloader or archery. it's bass ackwards. I could use a rifle even in the people's republic of NY.
