Does anyone use a windshield bag with Phat Risers II?
Which ones work and which ones don't?

You can make almost any one work. You just have to be willing to do what is necessary.
I drilled two holes in my windshield and bolted mine on. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif
Yeah, I know http://s2.images.proboards.com/shocked.gif but it works for me.
I have F&S on mine with the phat risers ...just had to adjust the windshield to clear the flap on the bag...too low and you won't get the bag open....Viurg

I bought a bag from Dennis Kirk and then removed the center mounting plate from the back and used the the holes that held it on as attachment points to my windshield. Looks and works great.

I could not find a handlebar bag the right size that I liked.
So I went to Walmart and paid $10 for a black leather women's clutch purse. I removed the shoulder strap and some decoration on the flap and I attache it with a strong magnet to the cross brace on the windshield. If I park where I will be away from the bike for a while I take if off and lock it in the saddlebag.
Works for me. :) Here's a photo:

Does it hold alot of make up and a compact? ;)
I bought a leather (like) River Road velcro windshield bag at Cycle Gear for $20 and just poked a couple holes to accomodate the screws/acorn nuts from the windshield. Cant see the hardware when the bag is closed. Holds my garage door opener, sunglasses, and ear plugs.
Been on there for 3 years...still looks good and no problems. I like the ease of velcro vs snaps.

The flap is held down with a magnet, the purse came that way it's even easier than velcro. http://s2.images.proboards.com/shocked.gif

Does anyone know if someone makes a Tri Pouch windshield bag specifically for the Nomad screen? Seems like a lot of them are custom fitted for HD's or Memphis Shades.
I have a bag rigged up now, but would like a custom fit, three pouch, bag. Something that matches right up to the windshield bolts.

I did what Bob did. Walley world womans clutch bag, and it just sits in the well. The cost was 6 bucks. The catch is a magnet. I cut off the strap and gutted the card holders and assorted dividers.

Bull, Digital dcv meter, and on the left now, is a tach mounted to the windscreen. (not shown)
That meter simply plugs into any lighter socket and is on 24/7. It was under 15 bucks on the battery rack at walley world.
Nuther view and the way my Vista cruise is (almost invisable)

Infact the Vista cruise is in the throttle LOCKED position just for the pic. Off the lever is up and is really invisable then.
