Check out the July 2011 edition of Road Bike magazine. There's an article about a shop in Sarasota FL called Roaring Toyz, who customized a 2011 Vaquero. They added a 21" front tire, custom paint and many other touches. They had to fabricate a lot of bling because there isn't any available for it.

Here's a scanned pic.

That was my first thought as well. I like the paint scheme!

I read the article the bike looks good I also got a chance to read a head to head comparison with the vaquero against the yamaha bagger with fairing . I believe it was in a mag called rider The yamaha had more power more room and better handeling but the vaquero won out for comfort and smooth ride etc

It does look like a Victory, I like it. But after you buy a Vaquero I wouldn't have the money to customize it. Nor would I be allowed LOL

I like it! The guy who made it usually makes sport bikes, not cruisers. Here's his website. http://www.roaringtoyz.com/

Looks a little low. I wonder if he lowered it?

If you look at that air cleaner, it's a Precision Machine piece. According to the article, they had to machine their own backing plate as that air cleaner was designed for a Harley.

Ponch, the article states they used a lowering kit from Progressive Suspension along with an Air Dragger rear suspension set up.

It's got to hurt riding that bike. I used to get jarred on the Nomad if I hit a good bump. I'll pass.

Lowering a bike definitely makes you pay attention to where bumps in the road are... othewise they WILL make themselves known to you. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

Like the roadglide custom, it's got to be short travel out back. I think the RGC is 2"? Man that's not much.

I finally saw a red Vaquero yesterday, and I was impressed. Now, if I sell the wife's car.......

I've seen the black several places and I do like it. But the red was siiting next to a black at this dealer, and the red really looks great.

Ah, the red one is sweet.

If I could afford a new ride, I would definately put the Vaq. of the top of the list. And the red would have the edge. I'm hoping to test ride the Vaq. next week.

I just got my Vaquero! Its a new 2011 candy apple red, I traded my Fury in for it and the 21" wheel kit is on order with matching air kit. Im looking at 6 weeks before it arrives and can't wait! The air kit for lowering the suspension is fully adjustable on the fly for looks when parked and for ride comfort.

The red ones are by far the fastest. Kaygee, did you get the kit from roaringtwins? Let me know how your install goes and post some pics. I'm looking into doing this mod as well.
