Bud, that looks like the ubiquitous MUTAZU trunk to me. Any decent quality trunk is going to cost 3x that at a minimum.

Bud looks like this one with the spoiler added, I think it is the same place selling it. If you want a trunk have you checked with Reckless they make them call and ask for Alex and let him know that you are with Kawanow.

Ubiquitous means "they's everywhere". Lots of vendors selling those things. Must get them from Mutazu for $7 each or something.

I believe the hinges are plastic ... based on what I've seen in pictures.

It's the one I have and it's made well enough IMHO... Mounted on a Wompus Rack..

My latch broke on mine but they sent me another one right away. The bottom cracked last year but it was because my rack didn't support enough surface area on the bottom. Straightened that out with alluminum backing plates. The Mutazu trunks are worth what they sell for. I paid $138 for mine.

I got the mutazu trunk. I bought used. It actually was CJs. I have had it for about a year now and it work. It rattles a little and it is not big enough, but for the little bit that I paid, it has been good. They look fine and they work.
