Entertainment at Maggie Valley

We are coming up on the National, Yea! I was wondering if maybe any one might want to chip in and get a band, maybe at the Tiki bar, say on Tues. night, we might ask the base hotel for permission. Don't know if anyone might be interested. Be great to have live entertainment. We could make payment on paypal to Trip or KawaGirl. Any thoughts? If we all chipped in a couple of bucks they might be able to get a local band. Anyway just a thought..

Its not a big deal for me to have a band there, Id probably prefer to meet everyone, and chat with all the new faces and some old ones while I have the opportunity more than have a band playing.

It is a nice idea and if the organizers decide that this is something they wish to do, I would chip in. Having said that, at the rally I was at last year most folks had retired by 10:00pm each night. Couple that with the concerns already mentioned about interfering with socializing and it might not be worth it.
