on my new Nomad. I figured I'd post this instead of just jokes and other BS since this is a motorcycle forum :)

Good I did too, and I have already had the rubber on the right grip degrade for some strange reason so now its a $40 fee for that grip and $6 s&h so i can replace it. Via la Kury.

If you're right handed as most, it's because you clench that grip, it's called the chicken choken death grip. You need to relax while you ride and not think about sex grasshopper. http://s2.images.proboards.com/tongue.gif

I did buy a throttle boss ever since I put the grips on. So who knows but the rubber looks dull and comes off black on my hand.

I've heard other people complain about that as well Doc. I don't know why there'd be an inconsistency with the rubber but it seems there is.

I've had the same thing happen with mine. I'm just leaving it be and wash my hands when I get to a restaurant or wherever I'm going. Seem like Kury shoud do something about it.

Could be a bad batch of rubber in the extrusion. I'm sure they put in anti-oxidant, and UV resistance additives in their process, and if the feeders for those were not working or plugged when the material was extruded it could result in substandard properties.
