Wompus had a set on his bike looking to trade but I think he and Loafer worked something out.

The 1600's take the same pipes as the 1500's, theres no difference.

thanks for the tips - and the note about the 1600 working with the 1500
I'm kicking myself - I had a line on a set in the fall, but hesitated and didn't pick them up in time.

unfortunately it looks like most of the ebay ones are either brand new (full retail) or the stock OEM. But I'll keep searching.

Thanks
B

I just ordered a set from Dennis Kirk. I paid $440 shipped. They have a beat it by a buck policy. I found the set cheaper and they beat the price. I have always been happy with Dennis Kirk.

I also bought mine from Dennis Kirk. Fortunately I live about 50 miles from them. Someone bought Vance & Hines from them, opened all the little bags and decided to return them. Rather than try to repackage them they sent them across town (1 mile) to their outlet store. I picked them up for $258.00 including sales tax. I then sold my stockers for $100.00 Total investment for exhaust, $158.00 :-)

Great deal Gibby. It has been my policy to buy high and sell low. :)

I am going to have two sets of stock exhausts. One with the baffles drilled, and one without drilled. I plan to keep the non drilled set in case Texas goes crazy with EPA inspections. Maybe I can get $100 for the drilled set and cut my net V&H cost too.

Try an ad on Craigslist, it is free and I sold mine the first day.
