Found this picture on Rivco's website. It is a Yamaha Road Star in Sweden.

Charlie,

Now I understand what motivated you to do all the recent mods!

I kinda like it in a different sort of way, I think the guy should have used a Drifter for his project rather than a V Star, but he did ok with it overall.

I find it very funny that this bike is from Sweden. You'd expect to see something like that in Arizona, Montana, Wyoming or some place like that. A little too "decked out" for my tastes, though.

Maybe it once belonged to Roy Rogers or something... http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

With a grin on his face like that, it's either a cat house on wheels or he just stole a Clydesdale... ;)

Those guys are pretty creative, have to give them credit for that.

The first pic reminds me of the late 50's to mid 60's when guys would use a ton of leather fringe around their big bikes. Everything was "fringed-out"... one of the reasons the name "dresser" came about. And typically the rider would be wearing a boat captain's-style hat.

The second pic... not sure if he has a horse in it or not; but he sure can put a lot of sh!t in that thing if he wanted! http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif My gosh... can you imagine trying to stop that thing? http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

I liked the little covered wagon in the first picture. Conestoga I think is what they were called.
