I've seen this 2 brake light spinner on ebay and was wondering if anyone has tried these out. They appear to be a good idea for being seen better. Thanks, Jody

Brother-in-law has one on his Classic it gets your attention at night I ordered a set of turn signal conversion lights that make the turn signals into running and brake lights will get a pic on here soon as I get the mod done. link to the mod

I have a spinner on my 07 Nomad, it is very noticeable at night and during the day. Note: when I was going to purchase it one of our members mentioned it might not be legal, so make sure its o'k in your state.

are you talking about the red running lights where the turnsignals are or the yellow turn signals

Actually they belong in the brake light the way the ad reads..

Just went through the Tenn laws on motorcycles the only thing it says it must have a red light to the rear and headlight on at all times it mentions brake lights and signal lights but not what color the signal lights have to be.

I think I would be alright in South Dakota since the tail/brake light would remain red...I will check on the legality of it here though...Thanks for the replies, Jody

thats the first time i have seen a video of it...while i do think they will provide greater visibility but agree with concerns about legality....second thing i think of is---how annoying are those going to be to the car sitting behind you at a traffic light.... :)

These lights are pretty common here (in Arkansas) and I absolutely hate them. I have rode many miles behind one. They will hypnotize you as you ride. I found myself watching the light instead of the road, after a while with all the lights blinking and flashing it is hard to tell when the brake is applied even though they all light up at once.
All my experience was during the day with lots of sunshine, that may be the problem with the LED and the red lens it is a little hard to see, it may be better with low light conditions. (Maybe now they are brighter).
The one that stands out the most was when The bike with this light was hit in the rear by his son. Neither are beginners, could have been another reason. I just thought of the bulb when it happened.

I have five LED arrays on the back that alternate between brinking five times then go steady for five seconds. Never had a complaint from anyone behind me. Even got a compliment from a MC officer. Really I'd rather have them upset a little than not notice me.

Those spinner bulbs are annoying to follow, except during the day. The reason for that is that they are not really that visible in daylight. I have know several guys who had them, and then got rid of them. One guy had one in his VRod, it burned out the first day he installed it...
There are good led's and crappy ones. I think these fall into the latter category.
