Ok lets start the first of the last oil threads.

But I am sure some of us would like to know if those embracing, "Like that BD," 50k miles, were they using dino, syn or blend. And if so, what do they think of the computer on Jeopardy.

Nuff. I am curious. Any dinos over 50, to me that would be cool.

Other than a couple depatures from normal, I've mosly used Valvoline 4 Stroke M/c oil, 20w-50, which is a blend if I remember correctly.

For the past couple of years, I have used Shell Rotella T synthetic almost exclusively.

TC likes dino oil because he raised a couple as pets as a young lad. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

I have been using Mobil 1 Racing 4 T 10W-40 synthetic motorcycle oil and the Bosch 3300 filter. Have a jug of Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 full syn for my next oil change.

I used Mobil 1 for the first 20,000 miles, then switched to Rotella 5-40 syn for the rest of the time. Also buy Bosch 3300 oil filters. Rotella took away the rattling at startup.
