Im just getting back to this site...Havnt had internet connection for quite a while.
Ive had my Nomad kept in excellant running order, always on the battery tender, and take it out for a maintence ride often, to keep every thing tight.
This is the two tone green bike, which is stunning to look at.
Im going to have my son help me post some photos soom, but in the mean time, it can be viewed on Craigslist.
Go into the SanFrancisco Bay Area region, motorcycles and type in 1999 Nomad...listed in Gilroy. Looking forward to hearing from you..phone number listed there. Ill post it here when I get with my son..Thanks

Just as a side note...This bike was stripped down at 20k milkes...Had the oil pump gear changed to the steel unit. (factory waranteed) Fresh clutch diaphram, new rings, fresh seals on the shaft, new rear wheel bearings, progressive springs in the front forks.
Three seat configurations available. BrakeAway cruise control, Kawasaki bag liners, front and rear chrome bumpers, light bar with eyebrows on all lights, chromed the front floorboard mounts, chrome passanger grab bars, Vance and Hines bagger pipes. Black side wall tires.
59 Cadallac tail lights, with LED rings installed inside...operate running lights, turn signals and brake lights...stock brake light in center operates as stock. So you get a bit more lights running
at night. Stock lights saved.

That IS a nice looking bike! Are you getting out of riding or are you going to replace the Nomad with something else? Just asking.

Beautiful bike, I have always loved the two tone green. Not in the market but really enjoy seeing pictures of bikes. Yours is well taken care of.

Youve kept it looking nice, you should have no problem selling it. Good Luck.

One of the reasons ive posted this great bike on this site is that I figured you folks would know what a decent price would be. With all the care and extra maintenance features Ive done to her..(example) Remove engine, and replace the stock oil pump gear, with a steel unit, and progressive springs up front, new rings at that time.(20k) Im thinking you folks would have somewhat of an idea what shes worth.
Of course what you think its worth and what the market will bear are 2 differant things.
I was kinda hoping someone that was family, or a good friend would appreciate the value.
Initially I was thinking it was well worth all of 6,000...but newer ones are going for that.
Ive got it listed for $4800 now....is that too cheap?
Economic times are the reason for selling her. Im 60 years old now, though my passion for riding hasnt stunted that desire. My other bike....06 Honda ST 1300..gets ridden quite abit more than the Nomad. The Nomad comes out when I have someone come from out of town
and I ride it, giving the ST to the other rider.
Riding out to the coast here is a once in a lifetime experiance for them.
Thanks for your comments about my Nomad !

Average retail for your 1999 Kaw Nomad is $3100.00. A rider in my town sold his '99 this past summer for $4500.00. So maybe you will find someone to pay your price, who knows.

Take a look at some of the prices guys have been asking for here on some of their bikes. Youll see 06-08's going for $6-8k
