So far just just made plans for the 2011 Sturgis Rally . Otherwise, no big plans. Hopefully many day trips and maybe a few extended weekend ones.

Nothing is in concrete yet, but I'm either going to Maine or Alaska. My wife knows and has okayed it, so it's happening!

No big trips this year for me this year. Have to get farm tractor up to snuff about $2,500 and I want to get a cargo trailer. So will do the same as last year Just a lot of day trips. Will still get plenty of rideing done anyway.

Nobody is going to the National Rally? That's my big trip this year, it's going to eat most of my vacation time. I will probably do the annual Coronado Trail ride in eastern AZ with some of my friends in August. That's an overnight ride of about 500 miles.

Other than that, our son Andrew is getting married in May and our son Nick is getting married in September, which will probably take up some of my time (and money).

Oh yeah..also to AZ Bike Week the last week of March, that's just over in Scottsdale, though. I usually do at least one of the big charity rides that week.

I would love to get to the National, but I was just riding that part of the country last summer. I want to visit something new. :(

I know I'm a poor sport.

I hope to be on the road more this yr than last (which was a 11,000 mile year)

1. National Rally - will take the long way there and back
2. West Coast Rally - will take the long way there and back
3. Talimena - Nightmare Rally in OK (if Vic is holding it)
4. There is something brewing in MO in late April
5. My annual trip into the NE Sandhills - hope some of you CO boys will try this.

Are on my calender now and I will be looking for a few more. :)

May do some things before June, not sure. Spend a couple of days in Arkansas on the way to national. Probably do the Blue Ridge Parkway and a few other things back east after national. Work my way back to the Black Hills and see my folks. Then finally cringe as I have to come back to the blast furnace in Arizona. The wife and son will stay home. Yeah, I'll be out for a tad longer than most riders. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

Wife and I will do the National Rally and then look for something else as they pop up. Will probably make a trip up to the Rockford, Ill. area also.

National in June, four day tour of NW Colorado in Aug. and a multi-day trip in July to be decided. Also at least 1or 2 day trips a week starting when the weather gets good.

Redwoods Rally in late August..... and maybe a week-long loop in early July up through northern BC, into Alberta then down through Jasper NP, then south through Missoula, MT riding Hwy 93 to Challis, ID before heading west back into Washington and home. Come on summer.... http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif!

2011 is not looking good for me to do any trips of significance. I am, as we speak, closing a design/build audio system in a venue that is not only quite large, but also has a a lot of notoriety. It's going to take a lot of time and tax every bit of gray matter I have as I dig deep into my bag of tricks. Right now the best I cam hope for is some day rides. Sure glad I have the Colorado Rockies right outside my door with some amazing riding. I would love to make the National Rally and the Rally in the Redwoods, but it's just not going to happen. However, since I work coast to coast, I may be nearby and can at least drop on and greet the lucky ones who can attend with their bikes. Have fun this year all and be safe!

No plans for 2011. Probably we'll do many day rides and weekend get-a-ways but I'm sure some ideas will pop up as the year unfolds.

Now that this subject is on the brain, I feel like going to Sturgis this year.
