2006/1600 Nomad with 14k miles. V&H; Chucksters dual plate with K&N filter; Dobeck TFI. Reed valves and smog stuff removed. Throttle body cleeaned. Now with all you folks that have the same set up would you please tell me/us the pot settings you use and your mileage; i.e.; frome left to right. pot1 2:30 - pot2 5:00 - pot3 1:00 - pot4 9:00.. then round out mileage like 14k. I think this would be interesting to see how much difference; if any, it would be between different bikes/riders; but same year; mileage and even locations. Just make it simple and quick; i.e.;....2:30 - 5:00 - 1:00 - 9:00 - 14K and if you want city and state.

2007 Nomad, 30,000 miles, V&H with u/b, Chuckster dual plate intake mod, reed valves in place with hose plugged. Pot #1 - 3:00, #2 - 5:30, #3 - 1:00 (off), #4 - 9:00. 87 octane fuel exclusively since doing the intake mod. Mileage 2 up moderate on the throttle - 37 - 40 mpg, riding solo 40 - 43 mpg. This is riding at sea level to 800 above sea level. Haven't been at higher altitudes since adding the intake mod and the V&H pipes.

2006 Nomad
26,800 Miles
V&H Baggers, Dobek TFI, Chuckster Dual Plate Intake
Stock intake elements intact but inactive (no coaster plates, etc)
POT settings of 2:30, 6:00, 1:00, 9:00 running 87 Octane.

Wow, Mitch.. 40-43 mpg solo? 200 miles a tank? Really? I get about 180 to the tank (est).

Either I need to redo my calculations/estimates or I need to change plugs or something.. that's really good.

Maybe it's because I'm a fatass... http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

You may be taller than me but I don't think your @$$ is wider than mine. You may be more aggressive on the throttle than I am. After all, I'm probably 15 - 20 years older than you Jim. I have more respect for speed than heights, if that makes any sense.
