Marion Mitchell Morrison (born Marion Robert Morrison; May 26, 1907 – June 11, 1979), better known by his stage name John Wayne, was an American film actor, director and producer. He epitomized rugged masculinity and became an enduring American icon. He is famous for his distinctive voice, walk and height. He was also known for his conservative political views and his support, beginning in the 1950s, for anti-communist positions.

A Harris Poll, released January 2009, placed Wayne third among America's favorite film stars,[1] the only deceased star on the list and the only one who has appeared on the poll every year since it first began in 1994.

In 1999, the American Film Institute named Wayne 13th among the Greatest Male Stars of All Time.

There was an 80% chance of rain and the radar shows it all going north of us. I did get two whole rain drops on the windshield earlier so I suppose it counts. BD, remember save the Nomad the other stuff can be replaced. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

Merry Christmas everybody. http://s2.images.proboards.com/cool.gif

I went over to Pizza Hut at lunchtime and saw a couple of raindrops. It's been gloomy and overcast all day, but nothing in the way of rain in my area. They said the high today would be 65, but it's 10 degrees warmer than that now.

I just watched a house slide into a river somewhere out there in Arizona.

I've been busy making out a riding schedule for next year. So far I have 9 trips for a total of about 20,000 miles. Going to Utah, Southern California, Arkansas, National Rally, back to Tennessee with a different group, North West Rally, Arkansas again, Nightmares Rally, and Utah again.

Nat. and West Coast Rallies as well as Nightmare's Rally are on my list. I will also do a trip back to Cortez, CO. If I am not working, any time I can see a two or three days of nice weather I will hit KS or SD for some ridding.
