For years my wife has talked about getting me a Gold Wing for my 50th birthday.
Last August we rode 2 up on the Nomad to Montana for the Northwest Regional Rally. It was our 1st long road trip and it went pretty well.
Last weekend we went to the motorcycle show where we tried on Voyagers and Wings.
I am happy to report that she has decided that Ava has decided that the Nomad more than meets our needs for touring. http://s2.images.proboards.com/grin.gif

Great looking bike Charlie, glad she likes it probably as much as you. Goldwings are awesome bikes with an awesome price tag. Owned an '83 and cost me just over $6,000 new. And look how much they cost now. You get a lot of little gadgets but all in all you can't beat a Nomad.

If the bikes does a good job for you, that should be a keeper. And I like that colour orange, it really sets it apart from the others.

And that's just it. We figured out this bike does everything we need. We are comfortable on it.
And think of all the bling I can but for the price of a wing http://s2.images.proboards.com/shocked.gif

Glad you and Ava love your Nomad, but too bad you didn't take her up on maybe a second bike for the harem. ;)
Nice ride.

I'll bet its real comfortable on a long trip, thats important if you spend all day on the bike, especially riding two up. I bet you don't regret buying that seat.

I was gonna say.....with seats like those....why would you ever need another bike? I do see a trunk in your future though... ;)!
